Hey all, been a while, but now that I have something worth posting, here I am. This weekend we did pumpkins and they turned out super adorable, if I do say so myself.

Note: there are no during shots due to the mess, the pumpkins I did were extremely juicey (and the little yellow one smelled just like a cantaloupe), so it was pretty messy up in there.

Also, the pumpkins are glistening because it has been raining all day, so they are soaked, I had to tip them over and pour them out (there are also a number of slugs who have made homes in them, kinda gross.)
Baby Martha Stewart pumpkin:
Martha Stewart does these incredibly elaborate and detailed “lace” pumpkins, so this was my shot at that, it is not as pretty as martha’s, but, it did not take me a million hours like I imagine hers would. Also, for Gilmore Girls fans, go check your Martha. urwlcm. Also, COPPER BOOM.

I’m sure the movie Megan spoke of was The Watchmen, right? Right Mark? Yeah? Awesome or what? I’m excited to see it some day. Kudos. However, I’ve been cleaning and job-hunting. After completing both I decided to make a video and experiment with the iMovie app on this smokin new laptop I got. It’s rough, I’ll admit. But I found my copy of Adobe Premier and I’m going to see if it works on this badass Mac. That way the next vid I make will be much more enjoyable.

When the Flyers team scores they get cases of Tasty Cakes, so the announcers say the above line. It is entertaining.
Also, in exciting news, since yesterday was a snow day (!!!! like 6 inches around here, it was nuts), I decided to get some work done, I got the rest of the floor down (we just had the area in front of the door to do) then I primed and painted the baseboards, AND got them installed. NICE. I even filled in the gap between the wall and the baseboards so they look SUPER awesome. I will post pictures later, but as of now all we have to do it get the tile and install, and hang the mirror (we were going to do this, but there is something behind where we’d need to anchor it in, so we have to get new hanging hardware, PAIN IN THE ASS.)
In other news, I’ve decided the bathroom needs to have some art in it, I am thinking something like this:
I did this in the Mac’s equvilent of MS Paint, so it is not 100% just yet. THIS IS A PROTOTYPE GUYS.
Also, I heard dad needs to know who Liz Lemon is, here is a taste, but mom and melissa, you guys need to make him watch some episodes:
